Sash is such an excellent mom and takes such great care of her babies!

She loves to lay her toy in the bed with her babies!

Vet day!

Today was the day for the puppies to have their tails docked and their dew claws removed! They also received a vet exam!!

Sash LOVED the truck ride and LOVED having her puppies right there by her side!

 Here are the puppies patiently waiting...

 When the vet took the puppies back, Sash was not happy especially when they started crying!

 We lifted Sash up to the window so she could see, but she did not like the fact that they were making them cry!

When they brought the puppies out, I have never seen Sash move so fast! She plopped down on the bed next to her puppies so fast and covered them up...she was letting them know THEY WERE DONE, haha!!

 Then for the rest of the night she has been cuddled up to them so cute! Here she is with Westin!

We sure love Sash, Westin, Stu, Sophie, and Whitley!!!

They're here!! 2 boys and 2 girls!!

Sash's labor started around 7:30am on Monday 6-18-12 just when my husband was getting ready to leave for work! She did not want him to leave! At 8:48am a little male arrived...his name is Westin!!

 Then at 9:05am his little brother, Stu, arrived!

 Stu has a solid head just like his mom and dad!

 Then it was mom and boys for a long time!!

Auntie Kyn kept watch to make sure everything was going okay!!

 Then over 4 1/2 hours later (no joke) their little sister, Sophie, arrived at 1:38pm. She definitely was worth the wait!!

 Then it was mom, brothers, and sister for almost 3 hours!!

 Then at 4:26pm, another little sister, Whitley arrived! These girls were definitely worth the wait...little princesses!

Then mama finally got to rest and cuddle with all her babies!! We love them and are so glad they are all here and healthy!! Yea, for Brittany puppies!!

Final week!!

Here is Sash during her 8th and final week! She continues to be a cuddle bug! We love it!!

 On Sunday, 6/17, Sash's temperature dropped so we knew the time was approaching! This is that night when she was trying to get comfortable in her brother's bed!!

Sash got to go see her Dr this past week. He said she looks great and is doing great. He palpated her stomach and said he definitely felt some babies. We are excited!!

 While we were waiting for Sash's Dr, Sash had some fun spying on some kitties...she makes us laugh!!

 Lately Sash is more tired and you can definitely see it in her eyes in this picture...

or maybe it is because her 'lil sister is massaging her ear!! Call it what you may, but they call it massaging, haha!

Here is Sash with her daddy! She LOVES her daddy! He came home for lunch and she just had to be right there!!!

We have just over a week left and we love this time because we can see the puppies kicking and rolling around in her belly like crazy! Sash is a cuddle bug and so when she lays on us, we get to feel the circus too! It is also fun to watch...looks like we got some wild ones coming, lol :)
